My Story
For a long time I suffered with painful periods, PMS, tiredness and low moods. Often feeling like I can’t keep up with the fast pace of the world we live in, especially during my bleed. I’ve been told I am too emotional, too sensitive and lazy. I didn’t understand how other women could continue the same during this time, often judging myself and feeling like there was something wrong with me for not being able to. I would dread this time of the month - the exhaustion and the emotional turmoil I would face. I was tired, I was low, I was disconnected with my cycle. I didn’t see all the magic that there was in being a woman. Working with my cycles though yoga awakened me to my WHOLE cycle - not just my bleed. There is something so grounding in embracing this rhythm. I used to see everything around me as constantly changing and I was completely lost amongst it. Using these practices I will share during this series I have learned to become more grounded in predictably changing emotions and energy, embracing change while shifting the stagnant. From this education I have more acceptance and understanding of the deepest parts of who I am and have transformed how I live my life, allowing myself to truly live more authentically.
CYCLICAL YOGA?
Cyclical Yoga is a way of practicing yoga that connects to the needs of your female body, instead of practicing yoga to the same intensity throughout the month, you pause, you listen and you adjust as you move through the month. You witness how our body changes, in energy, in your emotions and you make a practice to suit those needs. You will begin to notice;
Your extroverted days and your introverted days
The days when your energy is higher and lower
When you are more productive, then more internal
Days when you crave more space and days when you crave more intimacy
You will notice when your body starts to slow down, preparing for retreat, rest, rejuvenation.
Then when you feel this energy rise again, when you feel strong, powerful, sensual.
Many subtle changes in your beautiful body and how consistent they are in their rhythm each month.
From this the ultimate self care package can be created, you will understand when is the best time to push yourself, challenge yourself, create more social time, you will know when you need to create more space to be gentle with yourself, to be soft, slow and nurturing.
Cyclical living is the greatest life hack any woman can do.

WHY CYCLES
Living by my cycle has completely changed my life. It has allowed me to go deep within myself and see who I am, as an individual and as a women. For too long women have been suppressed, disconnected from our true rhythm, our innate nature and we have been blinded into ignoring our essence, our power and our truth. You are so beautiful. You are changing, not ‘unpredictably’ and ‘irrationally’ but predictably. When you connect to your strength and learn how to walk at the drum of your own beat you hold so much power and wisdom within.
Our society runs from a cycle that benefits either men or capitalism. It doesn’t want us to rest and rejuvenate, but look at nature. This is how everything works, in cycles, in peaks and calm. Nature is destructive and so are you. The only thing guaranteed in life is change. Embrace it, see all of the beauty in it and use it.

whats included?
Join me for this 7 week series where you will learn about all of the cycles we experience in life. Primarily focusing on the menstrual cycle we will journey through the lunar month exploring each phase as a small and intimate group, looking at how and why your body changes through education, yoga and sharing so you can understand your body better and live a life that truly meets your needs. You will leave this series with a new found understanding of your beautiful body, yoga practices that align with your female body and cycle, nourishing practices and self care for tending to your womb and menstrual health.

FAQs

It doesn’t matter! We will be going through a different energy each week and not everyone will be in synch with the flow we move with, but it will be accessible for all. If you are not currently bleeding I recommend to follow the cycle of the moon as we experience these energies with the external cycle and our internal cycle. You can use this time to connect to either and both.

If you don’t currently bleed, follow the moon. An average (not all, and not nesessary) female cycle is almost the same length as the moons cycle and the energies replicate the moons.

I have a Fertility Awareness Method workshop that is free for everyone that signs up to the 6 week Sacred Cycle Circle. Here we go over the basics of how to track your cycle for natural birth control, conception and over all health and connection to body. We go over the hormonal cycle, the 3 bio markers we use and how to chart our results to get started.
